What NOT TO DO During the Interview Process

1.Over follow-up
- One call or email 24-72 hours after initial interview is how you should follow-up. Then every 72 hours after.
- Most likely there are other candidates being interviewed, they will interview everyone they have scheduled even if it’s decided the first interviewed candidate is the right fit, as a courtesy.
- Following up is great, it shows eagerness and interest in the role, however a lot of recruiters wait until the interviews are completed to let the candidates know where they stand, so they can have accurate information. Be patient but persistent, there’s a fine line when it comes to being too aggressive, follow-up every 3 days or so if you don’t hear anything right away.
